Effective immediately RDCK has a new recycling program. For Yahk residents this includes a different location as well as a change in categories (bins) for types of materials. The new location is behind the ball field and has access from Yahk Settlement Road, first approach on the right. Recycling bins will only be open WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY from 11am to 1pm. The new categories for the recycling bins are; PAPER - CLEAN and DRY paper and cardboard CONTAINERS - Empty and RINSED containers plastic jugs, trays, heavy plastic wraps, tin cans, and tetra pacs (soup, milk, etc.) GLASS - Empty and RINSED clear and coloured bottles and glass containers.
